Lumen Hearts Center LLC (“Lumen Hearts,” “we,” or “us”) offers telehealth psychotherapy to adults in Alabama, Arizona, and Oregon. This policy explains how we handle information through lumenhearts.com, including website visits and inquiries. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes rights and duties concerning protected health information in psychotherapy. When health information is protected by HIPAA or a stricter law, that law and the Notice of Privacy Practices govern.
Information we receive
When you contact us or use a website form, we may receive the name, email address, phone number, and message or other details you choose to provide. Please share only the information needed for your inquiry. Do not send detailed clinical history, records, or urgent concerns through an ordinary website form or email.
Like most websites, the site and its hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, referring page, requested pages, and the time of a visit. Necessary cookies or similar storage may support site operation, security, and performance.
How we use information
We use inquiry information to respond to you, discuss possible services and scheduling, and manage practice communications. We use technical information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and to investigate misuse. We do not use an inquiry as consent to send unrelated marketing communications.
Forms, scheduling, and outside services
Our site may link to Alma for insurance and appointment steps and to Cal.com for consultations or existing-client scheduling. When you follow one of those links, that service collects and handles information under its own privacy terms and any applicable agreement with the practice. A plain link generally does not send your form answers to that destination before you select it.
Our non-client question forms are hosted by Google Forms. The Contact page embeds a form, while Fees & Consultation links to a separate form. Loading the embedded form may send technical information to Google before you submit it. When you submit either form, Google processes the name, email address, and message you enter under its applicable terms, and we receive those details to respond. Do not put detailed health information in either form.
The site also uses services that deliver fonts and optimize images, including Google Fonts and Optimole in the version reviewed for this draft. Loading those resources may send technical information, such as an IP address and browser details, to their providers. Our website host and security services may also process technical data needed to deliver and protect the site.
Sharing and retention
We share information with service providers that support the website and practice, when reasonably necessary to respond to your request or provide services, and when required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information. We retain inquiries and technical records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and applicable legal, security, and recordkeeping obligations. Clinical records follow the separate retention rules that apply to the practice.
